Frank Thomas

Regular
WHY YOU SHOULD KNOW HIM:
That guy who got into a fight with Dick Allen during batting practice when they were both on the Phillies. Thomas would say things to Allen like, “Boy, hand me my shoes,” and “Boy, pick up my bat for me.” Clearly, Frank Thomas was not an enlightened man. Dick punched Thomas, and Frank responded by hitting Allen with a baseball bat in the shoulder. A few days later, Thomas was put on waivers and picked up by Houston, and Allen stayed in Philly, where he continued to mash the baseball for years.
